Santa Barbara & Solvang Train/Bus Trip
Join FRPA and SCSRA for a fun train ride to Santa Barbara, with included bus service to Solvang for the afternoon!
- When: Saturday, October 18, 2003 (see departure times)
- Where: Roundtrip service from Fullerton or Glendale train stations
- Cost: Adults $50 (r/trip from Fullerton) or $45 (r/trip from Glendale); children and seniors even less (see Fares)

The Trip
You board our chartered Amtrak passenger train cars from either Fullerton or Glendale train station for a relaxing ride to Santa Barbara. Enroute, explore the train and enjoy the scenery as you travel toward Ventura and then along the beach to beautiful Santa Barbara.
Destination: Solvang
On arrival, Amtrak motor coaches will whisk you to picturesque Solvang, arriving at 12:35 p.m. A lovely Danish community renowned for its restaurants, wine tasting room, bakeries, and shops of all kinds, Solvang is a great get-away location. You will have five hours in which to enjoy a leisurely no-host lunch, take a walking tour, and enjoy the ambience. At 5:35 p.m. you will re-board your motor coach and ride back to Santa Barbara where you will board the return train.

In early October we will mail your tickets. When you have boarded the train, we will provide you a Solvang walking tour map and restaurant and shopping information to help make your afternoon truly memorable.
